The additional two (2) years in Senior High School are the hallmarks of the Basic Education cycle of the K-12 program. As defined by DepEd, this is the stage toward the realization of the Philippine Qualification Framework (PQF). As such the curriculum is composed of Core Applied Track and Specialized subjects.
