JUSTICE

  • Just relationships
  • Justice changes the structures of our society from oppressive to life giving structures.
  • Distributive justice (Benefits and resources within the society shall be properly distributed among all the members of the society, and no discrimination shall be allowed to rise)

A system or an economy based or exploitation can never be an abode of justice. e.g. globalization policies

  • Restorative Justice
  • Peace is based on Justice (no one is oppressed and used and exploited and marginalized)
  • Laws, policies of the state and institutions are made to serve and protect the most vulnerable sectors of our society.

Social justice is a condition wherein humanity lives in relationship and solidarity with God and all of God’s creation, resulting in fairness, well-being, and harmony.

PEACE
