Integral ecology is one of the priority issues of the Good Shepherd Congregation. The call to protect our common home is also the call of Pope Francis in his Encyclical “Laudato Si”.
Every department of SBCA was given the chance to visit the Good Shepherd Farm, Sariaya. It was an opportunity for all not only to learn how to take care of our Common Home, but they were also given the chance to commit as a group in taking care of our environment.
Bonding as a group and enjoying the beauty of God’s creation were highly felt during the whole day in the farm. The first group was done by the Elementary department on November 26; while Junior High had their schedule on January 26, Senior High went on January 21 and the last but not the least were the office staff who visited the farm on March 13, 2021. Ms. Annie, the principal joined all the groups, while Sr. Anya facilitated the day – long activities.
